Who said maths has to be uninteresting? This educational show (for the younger crowd) ran for five seasons around 1990. Just about every episode featured the segment "Mathnet" - a police pastiche which very, very rarely went without a female detective in a suit and tie. Sometimes without a jacket, occasionally slightly looser, but usually prominently on display.
This Youtube channel has what must be a majority of the episodes and I put together a small screencap collection of just a few examples (with the episode numbers in case you want to find one in particular). Hope you'll like it!
(I just noticed I messed up copying the digits. The bottom middle cap is from 515, not 509.
