Are you new here, or to WIST? Nobody gets permission for any pictures uploaded anywhere, be it the old Women in shirt tie yahoo group, flickr, here or anywhere else. It almost never happens! There would be almost no pictures if that were the case on any of the mentioned places.

Even if someone wanted to, they would unlikely have the time to start finding out, and seeking permission from the original owner of any picture. In many cases a picture will have been recycled so many times, it would be impossible or very challenging to find out. No one is going to get legally challenged here, and if they do, things are easily removed. Indeed 90% or more of items posted here should "technically" and "legally" be removed.

I will just stop posting then if I am going to get grief or singled out. You can maybe speak to the moderators here about that anyway. They may have to shut this site down... Best wishes
