Starching advice
I have always used spray starch cans for making my collars and cuffs stiff. It is bit of work, and I have to let them dry then go over them a second time to get them nice and stiff. I use a lots of the starch, a spray can never lasts long, I buy 5 or 6 cans at a time!
What is everyone else doing for starching?
I did try to make my own starch once at home from boiled rice starch, but it was a disaster. Harder than it looks to do home made stuff. I also stored it in a big tub, but it did not store well either and got all mouldy and ruined and discoloured.
I was thinking about maybe getting some starch powder I could mix with water, and then just be able to carefully dip my shirt collars/cuffs into it then hang to dry.
Maybe this would work with something like this?
