Music videos
Hesitated where to post this but as not ALL ladies are nameable celebs and since these were originally intended for TV use I think this is the right section. Here's some interesting sightings from bygone days:
B.B. King - "My Lucille" and "In the Midnight Hour"
Michelle Pfeiffer was one of the sequin-suited celebs in the backup band (which also included Dan Aykroyd, Steve Martin and Eddie Murphy).
Billy Ocean - "When the Going Gets Tough (the Tough Get Going)"
The main song from "The Jewel of the Nile" soundtrack featured the movie's main cast as backup singers in the video - including Kathleen Turner:
Five Star - "The Slightest Touch"
Denise Pearson wore white tie throughout the video and was joined by her siblings for the finale:
Jermaine Stewart - "We Don't Have To Take Our Clothes Off"
Unknown model adjusts her hat and straightens her tie for the camera:
Kate Bush - "This Woman's Work"
Kate begins and ends the video in a tux at her piano (and also wore one performing the song on "Wogan", but that's a different scene)
Reba McEntire - "Why Haven't I Heard From You"
Reba and her backup girls changes into very nice outfits for the finale:
Reverend Black Grape - "Black Grape"
The video has repeated appearances by a pair of nice bunny girls:
Roo Morgan - "Marry Me"
Pretty obsolete find, but Roo wears a jacket and tie over her dress for the entire song:
The Belle Stars - "Sign of the Times"
The entire band wears white tuxes and black ties for at least part of the video (and while performing it on Top of the Pops. They also switched to black suits with red bow ties for the TotP Christmas show that year. Worth looking up!)
The Mobiles - "Drowning In Berlin"
Lead singer Anna Maria wore white shirt, waistcoat, bow tie and gloves in the video AND at Top of the Pops. Sticking with the theme, these caps are from the actual video.

Re: Music videos
Thanks! I'd FORGOTTEN about that, despite it being in my collection. Had it in a different folder.
Please tell me if you know any more!
Anyway, here it is:
Annie Lennox - "Legend In My Living Room"
Annie wears top hat and tails with white gloves throughout the whole video, occasionally marking the beat with her cane.

Re: Music videos
Thank you for posting photos from that video. I´ll remember about any other videos, where woman or women wear tuxedo, top hat etc.

Re: Music videos
Please look at youtube on video with scottisch percussion player Evelyn Glennie, where she plays ragtime by Scott Joplin. She wears black tuxedo and of course is very beautiful.

Re: Music videos
Thank you - I hadn't seen that before! I HAD seen the cover of her album "Dancin'", though, which is also worth a look...

Re: Music videos
Thank for posting the amazing photo og Evelyn Glennie. Look at Madonna, when she sings Like a Virgin during Girlie show. She wears black tailcoat, top hat, stick, tails...
